Extension modules

The functionality of the web interface can be extended with the following modules:

wS - Account and scenario management

webScenarios structures the way model information is disseminated to decision makers in different regions. The scenarios for all regions are managed centrally. Customized user accounts can be set up for decision makers with all relevant regional scenarios predefined. These customized accounts can be used to support an on-site demonstration or a link to the account can be sent to the decision maker.

wS - Sensitivity analysis

Decision makers can perform their own univariate and probabilistic sensitivity analyses to assess the robustness of a model. Customized sensitivity analysis helps to increase transparency and build more credibility.

wS - User management

webScenarios enables manufacturers to either allow public access or use password protected user accounts to control access to a model. webScenarios uses secure encryption standards to safeguard the strictest privacy of all communications.

wS - Monitoring

webScenarios provides usage statistics and offers comprehensive tools to monitor how a model is being used.

wS - Cluster

A large network of computers connected to webScenarios can perform model simulations in parallel. This improves the speed of simulations with computationally intensive models, such as discrete event simulation models.
